8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
The second University crew will leave this evening at 8 o'clock for Annapolis, where, on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, they will race the second crew of the United States Naval Academy. If possible, practice will be held tomorrow morning and afternoon, and Saturday morning. The Navy management has kindly loaned a boat for the use of the University.
The work of the second crew has been very satisfactory this spring, especially in the last few days. In the first of a couple of spurts with the University crew yesterday, the second was easily out-distanced; but in the second, the University crew had difficulty in keeping ahead of them. Eager at stroke has a good rhythm and is capable of driving the crew hard in a race.
The following men will take the trip: A. T. Abeles '13, E. K. Carver '14, G. C. Cutler, Jr., '13, L. Curtis, Jr., '14, H. Eager '12, L. H. Mills '14, Manager A. S. Neilson '13, R. M. Nelson '13, H. A. Rogers '12, G. F. Stratton '13, F. H. Trumbull '14.
